Support local track and field
Göteborgsvarvet is organized by the Gothenburg Athletics Association to benefit athletics in the region. Around 3000 volunteers are engaged through athletics clubs in the district, but sports clubs from various other disciplines also participate in the event's execution. The surplus generated goes directly back into sports development, investing in youth programs within clubs and the operation of the athletics facility 'Friidrottens Hus'.
