Shuttle bus to Göteborgsvarvet
Information about Shuttle bus to Göteborgsvarvet 2025 will be updated as soon as we have all details. Below information is from the race 2024.
There will be free shuttle bus transportation from Åby Arena with stops along the way to the Göteborgsvarvet start/finish area on May 18th. 10 buses from Bergkvarabuss will operate in shuttle service starting at 8:00 am, with buses running continuously. All shuttle buses are accessible. Family members are allowed to ride the bus; however, if there is high demand for buses, priority will be given to runners participating in the Göteborgsvarvet race. Toilets and showers are available at Friskis & Svettis, Åby Arena. Parking around Åby is subject to regular parking regulations; search for parking in the Parksters app.

First departure from Åby Arena at 8:00 am.

On May 18th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, the buses will run with the above stops along the way, and it is possible to board along the route.
Start/Finish - Åby Arena
In the afternoon, starting at 2:00 pm, shuttle service operates in the opposite direction. Start and finish area to Åby Arena with stops listed below. The last bus departs at 7:30 pm from the Start and finish area stop.

If you want to take the bus from Åby to the start and finish area after 2:00 pm, it's possible, but the bus will go directly to the start and finish area (without stops along the way). The buses stop/depart from the Start and finish area at a temporary bus stop near Margretebergsmotet/Botaniska, at number 7 in the image below.
Back at Åby, shower facilities are available at Friskis & Svettis at Åby Arena.
