Timing: In Varvetmilen, timing is done with net time. We use an automatic timing system where all runners have a chip attached to their bib. The official time is the net time, from the start line to the finish line, so you don't need to push for a good position at the start.
Seeding/Starting group: Varvetmilen applies "friend seeding". This means that all runners help each other to provide the best conditions for the entire field to have a smooth journey from start to finish. You decide where in the starting field you should start. If you want to take it a little easier, stand a bit further back; if you belong to the faster part of the starting field, position yourself towards the front.
Track: Varvetmilen Sollentuna is measured by a certified federal track measurer according to the rules established by Swedish Athletics.
After the race: All finishers receive a medal after the finish line.
Prizes: Prizes for placements 1–3 in the women's and men's categories, awards ceremony around 11:45 AM.
